THEATRE THREE proudly announces the world premiere of THE ELVES AND THE SHOEMAKER, a funny and poignant retelling of the classic story. Two bumbling elves stumble onto a poor shoemaker and his family and decide that they are going to help them save the family’s cottage. As the shoemaker’s business booms, lessons of generosity are presented through the hilarious antics of an ensemble of delightful characters.
BARNABY SAVES CHRISTMAS

Setting out to prove that they are not too small to help Santa, Barnaby (Santa’s littlest elf) and Franklynne (his reindeer friend), stumble across the wicked S.B. Dombelbury who is trying to ruin Christmas. On their journey, they enlist the help of some very special friends and learn the true meaning of Christmas, Hanukah, and the holiday season. Now in its fifth record-breaking year!

Almost Heaven: The Songs of John Denver closes this weekend. Don't miss your last chance to join the audiences that have been loving this show all month.
Some of Denver's most popular songs- Country Roads, Rocky Mountain High, Calypso- are teamed with the best of the less well-known of the 300 plus songs he wrote in his career. Carolyn Droscoski's rendition of Leaving on a Jet Plane will take your breath away. Morgan Rumble sings the beautiful love ballad For You. Corryn Manwiller wows the audience with her delivery of I'm Sorry. David Malloy changes the pace with a rousing Thank God I'm a Country Boy. Sunshine by TracyLynn Conner and Looking for Space by Anthony Raffa are also wonderful crowdpleasers. And that is just a small sample of what Almost Heaven has in store for you.

There are only three more opportunities to see the Eleventh Annual Festival of One Act Plays. In one two hour performance, five different one act plays are presented. They run the gamut from comic to provocative and they are sure to get you thinking. Each performance is followed by a meet-the-cast question and answer period. There is often an opportunity to meet one of the playwrights as well.
These world premieres may never be staged anywhere again.

Long Island Comedy Festival PresentsStand-Up Comedy For Kids, By Kids! The Long Island Comedy Festival presents the first annual Kids ‘n Comedy showcase. The Kids ‘n Comedy showcase features young comedians between the ages of 12 and 17, performing “live” stand-up comedy, designed for both kids and parents alike. “This is a very unique comedy showcase and we’re very excited to bring it to Long Island” said Paul Anthony who is also the comic host for the showcase. “The Kids ‘n Comedy showcase is stand-up comedy for kids, by kids. These are young students in grade school and high school, who are absolutely hilarious! This has never been done before on Long Island at this level, and we’re looking to make this a fun annual event that parents can enjoy with their children."

Theatre Three's own adaptation of the Beatrix Potter classic includes the mischievous Peter and his three sisters Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail as well as their cousin Benjamin Bunny.
