CLASS DISMISSED: THE BULLYING PROJECT

Theatre Three has created an original musical to address the issue of bullying in the schools.  The work focuses on bullying in the classroom, cafeteria, and schoolyard, with strong emphasis on the rising incidents of bullying via the Internet.  The play presents a range of scenarios and provides active solutions to the various issues.  Each performance will be followed by a question-and-answer period with the audience. A detailed study guide is available prior to the performance which will give material on the production as well as follow-up activities and discussion topics.

AND THESE, OUR FRIENDS
A SAFE-DRIVING PLAY

THEATRE THREE proudly presents a
re-envisioned version of its very successful anti-DWI play, AND THESE, OUR FRIENDS.

This is the story of Sheila and her four friends, Nicky, Allison, Casey, and Janelle. They are all high school seniors who must make the same choices that millions of young people must make each time they get into a car, and each time they drive (or allow someone else to get behind the wheel). In the midst of their day-to-day lives, the death of a student in a DWI-related crash affects them each in a different way.

The ultimate aim of the play, past and present, is to incite not only thought, but feeling. If we are to deal with this problem, it will be through rational appeal and not through threats, shock, preaching, or violence.

If the problem lies within our young, people, so does the solution.
