JULY 11 - AUGUST 2

 

"Today we'll go to special places. . . ." A grand new musical using popular stories and fables, including THE TORTOISE AND THE HARE, THE TOWN MOUSE AND THE COUNTRY MOUSE, and THE FISHERMAN AND HIS WIFE, this interactive production features bold storytelling, songs, raps, and audience participation. The production will also be available to tour to schools and other organizations during the 2008-09 season. (This production was developed with support from The Rauch Foundation.)

ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND

AUGUST 8 - 16

 

It's a rainy day at Camp Lackaday Woods when our very modern heroine ventures down the rabbit hole. The Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat – all the famous figures gather for a 21st Century tale of the Lewis Carroll classic.


THE ELVES & THE SHOEMAKER

OCTOBER 11 - 25

 

THEATRE THREE proudly announces the world premiere of THE ELVES & THE SHOEMAKER, a funny and poignant retelling of the classic story. Two bumbling elves stumble onto a poor shoemaker and his family, and decide that they are going to help them save the family's cottage. As the Shoemaker's business booms, lessons of generosity are presented through the hilarious antics of an ensemble of delightful characters.
 


BARNABY SAVES CHRISTMAS

NOVEMBER 29 - DECEMBER 27

 

Setting out to prove that they are not too small to help Santa, Barnaby (Santa's littlest elf) and Franklynne (his reindeer friend) stumble across the wicked S.B. Dombelbury, who is trying to ruin Christmas. On their journey, they enlist the help of some very special friends and learn the true meaning of Christmas, Hanukkah, and the holiday season. Now in its 5th record-breaking year!

They're back!!!  Peter, Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-Tail, Benjamin Bunny, the McGregors and all their friends come to life in this delightful adaptation suggested by the characters created by Beatrix Potter. The Adventures of Peter Rabbit is a THEATRE THREE tradition for the spring break!

MAY 22 - JUNE 6

 

THEATRE THREE closes the Children's Theatre season with an all-new retelling of the poor waif whose belief in the goodness of the world and her own power to change her life, lead her to a promise, a pumpkin, and a palace. With a daffy fairy godmother, two wicked stepsisters, and a prince who is not what he seems, CINDERELLA is enchantment for the entire family.
